GENESIS

In the beginning there was absence, then a singularity appeared and DARKSTAR became.

DARKSTAR’s gravity pulled-in dissident volleyballers from the abyss – they too became DARKSTAR.

‘The Singularity’ made its word heard.

And the word was written in commandments, thus:

The 1st  rule of DARKSTAR is - you do not talk about DARKSTAR.

The 2nd rule of DARKSTAR is - you DO NOT talk about DARKSTAR.

The 3rd rule of DARKSTAR is - obey your ‘Controller’.

The 4th rule of DARKSTAR is - ‘The Singularity’ governs all.

The 5th rule of DARKSTAR is - your fatigues must be worn to training: no tee – no train.

The 6th rule of DARKSTAR is - pay your dues, or be discharged.

The 7th rule of DARKSTAR is - apparel must be white, black or grey.

The 8th rule of DARKSTAR is - attend 80% of manoeuvres or be deleted.

The 9th rule of DARKSTAR is - you are not a player, you are not human, you are DARKSTAR.

The 10th rule of DARKSTAR is - jump higher – hit harder... always.

The word was then heard by others: and those who saw their own face in the word, those whose souls were drawn to the dark... those blessed few who were ready to leave behind their mortal being and become DARKSTAR, made contact with ‘The Singularity’.

DARKSTAR is all.

HISTORY

2011 - In the 9th month, DARKSTAR became.

2012 - Within half an Earth orbit of their becoming, Venus & Mars granted NVL status.

2012 - Venus Crowned Champions of The Regional East Midlands League: 2011-2012.
